A leading soda manufacturing company, our client wanted to capture data from their high-tech vending machines with touchscreens that allow individual users to mix their own soft drinks. Our client wanted to perform analytics and look at geographical trends and type of mixtures that the customers were using to create their drinks. They also wanted to analyze this data to take decisions related to servicing of the units, and syrup refill deliveries. Their Teradata DW and Oracle database are not fast enough to land the source data from the machines and allow the ability to access the data required to test, allow them to unlock all the possibilities that this machine will provide for marketing.
Datametica was involved in ingesting the data and creating the Data Lake/Hub. The EDH provided access to their marketing and sales It also serviced the data that they never had before.
