What is GCP? And its important products?

What is GCP?

The Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a cloud computing service suite that operates on the same infrastructure that Google uses internally for its varied products such as YouTube, Google Maps, Google Search, Gmail, Google drives, etc. GCP enables the user to have a platform as a service(PaaS), infrastructure as a service(IaaS), and serverless computing environments. 

With the help of Google Cloud Storage, Google also allows a cloud storage platform for storing large, unstructured data sets. It also offers multiple database storage options, such as Google’s native Cloud Bigtable database, Cloud Datastore for NoSQL non-relational storage, Cloud SQL for MySQL fully relational storage, etc.

2. Storage: This can be further divided into three sub-categories:
   Cloud SQL: A relational MySQL database that helps manage and store data.
   Cloud Storage: A highly accessible and reliable object storage service.
   Cloud Datastore: A schemaless database service which has NoSQL, and used for storage of non-relational data.
3. Big Data: It includes BigQuery which is used to analyze the bid data in the clouds. It also facilitates tools like Android Studio, Google Plugin for Eclipse, Google Cloud Platform SDK, Cloud Playground, etc.
4. Services: It also offers services such as Cloud Endpoints.
