The objective was to assess the customer ( one of the top banks ) Azure Platform to improve & optimize its environment. Another objective was to help them in Cloud modernization, transition and provide future cloud support.
Challenges
The Customer faced high cost and performance issues in the Azure environment due to the complex architecture and design of the current Azure Platform. Being in the banking industry, they were also highly critical of security requirements and needed a service provider to help them manage their overall Azure environment.
Solutions
Datametica performed cloud assessment & did gap analysis to carry out Azure cloud optimization. Detailed analysis of all the services implemented in the Azure Platform with respect to Security Management & Governance, Reliability, Monitoring & Altering, and cloud cost optimization was performed.
Recommendations & best practices were given including go forward azure approach and architecture document including 3rd party tool integration. This ensured improved security and reliability of platform services including app layer, SQL databases, and managed databases. Implementation plans, commercials, and timelines were also provided.
Cloud Platform Managed Support Service:
Datametica is supporting the overall Azure cloud platform from providing Azure architecting & designing recommendations at the time on Onboarding new applications to the implementation of services as per the Azure best practices.
We also provided standardized processes for the Azure Implementation and provided support for their Ticketing analysis system.
